Actually, that made me sigh with relief; I was afraid the she would do better based on name recognition.
The Chronicle had a brief story only the day before the election.
Local Los Angeles AM talk radio (KFI's John & Ken) were pushing here candidacy for the "comedy gold" it would foster leading up to November.

More Republicans vote in the primaries, thank Gawd! Sometimes I think the rethugs here in CA are crazier than most because they dont' have a chance in hell of being the majority in anything other than small pockets.

Listen, Harv, you make dangerous assumptions that only promise egg on your face. You're not the only guy who fought for this country. I, too, was in the service (two branches) and was a Navy SEAL over 30 years ago. But your hind leg-chewing insistence that Obama is a Socialist shows just how magnificently deranged and demented you and your fellow right wingers truly are. Obama, whom I also hate but for the right reasons is, if anything, even more corporate-friendly than his predecessor, "President" George W. Bush. For fuck's sake, Jeff Immelt, the tax-dodging, job-killing CEO of GE, is his Jobs Czar. Does that sound like a Socialist to you? If so, then you either need to take a political science 101 class and/or some Thorazine suppositories. I too, believe Obama has subverted the Constitution but not the way you seem to think. Personally, I have a problem with him ordering the assassination of US citizens abroad and giving himself the right to detain any US citizen right here for the flimsiest of reasons. But you wouldn't have a problem with any of that because that kind of pre-Apocalyptic madness is part and parcel to you right wing nut jobs who think the whole world's against middle aged white losers like you. My God, wake the fuck up, Harv or better yet, remain in your coma and please do so quietly so you don't inflict your McCarthyesque fever dreams on the rest of us.

This was coming from a guy who pre-emptively charged me with censoring him after unfollowing and blocking me on Twitter and refused to put up my comment at his place that inspired this comment. I mean, my God, these people are magnificently insane and completely bereft of irony.
